Spokane, Portland and Seattle Railway Authorization for Expenditure (AFE). President's AFE Number 1509. Payment of special assessment account improvement of part of the highway from White Salmon to Husum by paving to a width of 12 feet with water bound macadam. Improvement made under the "State Aid" act, the state and county paying 65% of total cost of improvement and property lying within 2600 feet of the road improved is assessed with 35%.
