The Western Railway Museum Deposit includes 54 slides taken by photographer Robert Hanff and other photographs, a trainman's cap, timetables, an Oregon, Washington Railroad & Navigation Company Condensed Track Profile book, Leahy's Railway Distance Maps revised January 1928 all from the Frank Vercelli Collection: 18 brochures, 1955 Great Northern Railway Annual Report, a Trains magazine from August 1947, 2 maps, 9 timetables, and 2 special instructions, 41 prints and 123 negatives from the Arturo Lloyd Collection, photographs from the Dudley Westler collection), a Budd car Northern Pacific ad, and a Great-Northwest Apple poster, the January, 1929 issue of "Railway and Marine News", an Interstate Commerce Commission document on Northern Pacific discontinuing Trains 1 and 2, and the book "Railroad Signatures Across the Pacific Northwest".

Burlington Northern Railroad Company materials in the Robert W. Downey Collection include 1 color photograph of a locomotive and 13 maps of railroads lines grouped by state.

The Chuck Strawn Collection includes photographs of United States and Canadian railroad subjects, primarily equipment and structures. The photographs were mostly taken by Chuck Strawn but include some taken by his father, D.A. Strawn, and other photographers.

The Elizabeth Heldele Collection comprises photographs of Old Tacoma, Washington and an unidentified railroad bridge, and a program for the 100th Anniversary of the Snoqualmie, Washington railroad depot.

This test collection includes photographs of Burlington Northern Railroad diesel locomotives taken between 1985 and 1987.

Great Northern Railway Company materials in the Robert W. Downing Collection consist of 1photograph of a model of the Great Northern Railway Depot in Spokane, Washington.

The Greg Kibler Collection cosists of photographs, a Nothern Pacific 1914 Yellowstone Tours and Fares book, a 1920 Agreement Book for Clerks, Freight Handlers and Station Employees and newspaper clippings compiled by John Francis Murray.

The Harold Shannon Collection consists of over 300 photographs, primarily of Northern Pacific Railroad subjects. Most were taken in the mid-twentieth century.

The Jim Kruzberger Collection includes items from the Nothern Pacific Railroad Company and other Minnesota and Wisconsin railroads including 13 post cards, 78 prints, 65 negatives, 1 copy of timetable #22 for the Lake Superior Division of the Northern Pacific dated 05/03/1903, 1 copy of timetable #154 for the Duluth and Lake Superior Terminal railroads dated 11/09/1930, 1 copy of timetable #32A for the Lake Superior Division of the Northern Pacific dated 10/30/1910, a map of Chicago and North Western Railway Company system dated 10/1964, 1 copy of "Minnesota History" dated Spring 2006, 2 flyers for steam trips put on by Minnesota Railfan Association dated 07/01/1956 and 06/39/1957, 1 copy of a Northern Pacific passenger schedule dated 10/27/1957, 1 copy of a Northern Pacific Passenger schedule condensed dated 11/16/1952, 1 copy of Northern Pacific passenger schedule dated 10/29/1961, and 1 copy of the brochure "NP Locomotives".

The John Hilliard Collection includes 13 photographs of a Northern Pacific wreck and the Livingston, Montana workshops, and 44 photographs of snow plows, retirements and train wrecks from the Ray Spanring collection.
