The Hal Will collection was donated to the Museum of History and Industry (MOHAI) in Seattle, Washington circa 2010. At his widow's request, MOHAI granted the Great Northern Railway Historical Society (GNRHS) the right to display the collection on the internet.

Permission for online display of the collection was granted by the Museum of History and Industry, Seattle, Washington and digital files of 50 of the 57 photographs provided to the Great Northern Railway History Society.

Original prints of the collection photographs are held by the Museum of History and Industry, Seattle, Washington.

Digital files of 49 of the photographs of the collection are held by the Great Northern Railway Historical Society at the Pacific Northwest Railroad Archive, Burien, Washington.
