          Great Northern Steam Locomotive 2019, a Class N-1, a 4-6-8-0, built by Baldwin Locomotive Works in September 1912, rebuilt at Superior, Wisconsin on March 6,1926, rebuilt to N-3 Class at Superior from April 29, 1940 to August 16 1940, these old engines, modernized in 1940, are the ones the Great Northern Railway pitted against the Class Z-8 Number 4000 and Number 4001 and the performance was so good that the the Great Northern sold the Z-8s to the Seattle, Portland, and Seattle Railway. Taken at an unknown location, from the David Emerson Collection, a Maynard Rikerd photo of an undated post card on August 1, 1978.
