          Great Northern Steam Locomotive 1480, a Class H-4, a 4-6-2, built by Lima in 1914, 23-1/2"x30" cylinders, 73" drivers, 210 psi steam pressure, 251,200 pounds weight, 35,690 pounds tractive effort, leading the northbound local to Colville, Kettle Falls, and Marcus, Washington. It connected at Marcus to Nelson, British Columbia and to Republic and Grand Forks, British Columbia, these were mainline passenger power in the late teens and up to about 1927 when the Great Northern Railway got the 2500-2527 Mountain engines.
