The Colman Kennedy Collection is comprised of two framed (poster frames) railroad drawings of the Kelley Lake, Minnesota area. One of the east end and one of the west end of town. One gold framed picture of a Great Northern Railway 2500 class steam engine floating over the William Crooks locomotive and train; this may have been a promotional print. Small picture of James J. The Claude Earle Shinn Collection includes a box of Claude Shinn's personal materials: 3 diaries from 1938, 1942, and 1943, an insurance certificate, a photograph of Union Pacific Railroad steam engine Number 3975 and Union Pacific Railroad diesel locomotive Number 908, 4 photographs of Claude Shinn, his retirement notice and two articles about him.

The Claude Earl Shin Collection is comprised of railroad time and security books from the 1920's and 1930's, and a book of blank checks from the Northern Pacific Bank.

The Chuck Strawn Collection includes photographs of United States and Canadian railroad subjects, primarily equipment and structures. The photographs were mostly taken by Chuck Strawn but include some taken by his father, D.A. Strawn, and other photographers.
