It was rebuilt in in December 1988 as GP40M Number 3507. It became BNSF Number 3006. Number 8709 was built by General Electric Company (GE) in December 1971. Builder Number 38116. Number 3721 was built by Electro-Motive Division (EMD) 02/80. Builder Number 796297-63. It was rebuilt as as SD40N Number 326.
