The Claude Earl Shin Collection is comprised of railroad time and security books from the 1920's and 1930's, and a book of blank checks from the Northern Pacific Bank.
The collection puts together educational booklets from Railway Educational Bureau, issues of the "Narrow Gauge and Short Line Gazette", station and bridge drawings, Northern Pacific forms and BN "West Chronicles", an NP Engine Facility Plat Map Book, 8 photos of derailment of tank cars with resulting fire, a drawing and request for passenger depot near Dryad, WA, a "Model Railroader" article from the January, 2002 issue on GN M-2 Class 2-6-8-0, a framed photo showing a pile driver, and 2 books: "Ships of the Inland Sea" and Sternwheelers up the Columbia", 12'x26" photo of Puget Sound Flouring Mill workers in front of mill and Stadium Telegraph Office. The Christina Ravera Collection includes 4 Northern Pacific booklets, 14 photographs and 3 other documents, many dealing with her uncle, Glen Olaf Portrude, a Nothern Pacific trainman circa 1925-1975.
The Charles "Roger" Fischer Collection includes several Northern Pacific Railroad "Schedule for Telegraphers" dated 1910-1928; seniority lists for telegraphers dated 1947-1958, a 1920 schedule for conductors, 1926 and 1934 time books, a copy of Single Track Telegraph Block Signal System Rules, and Motor Vehicle Operation rules for Washington State dated 1937.
The C. F. Wolfe Collection consists of materials dated between 1926 and 1980 and includes 33 maps and track profiles of the Great Northern Railway Company (U.S.) and the Burlington Northern Railroad Company, and various mechanical drawings and specifications for railroad tracks for the Great Northern Railway Company (U.S.), Burlington Northern Railroad Company and Northern Pacific Railroad Company.
The Bob Yost Collection includes books, booklets from the International Correspondence School, Northern Pacific Railroad Annual Reports to the Interstate Commerce Commission, VHS tapes on railroading, DVD's on railroading, photographs, posters, timetables, memorabilia, and ephemera.
The Bob Heirman Collection consists of equipment manuals, rule books, timetables, personnel records including seniority lists, ephemera, approximately 30 photographs, maps and published books and magazines. Railroads covered include principally the Great Northern, Northern Pacific, Burlington Northern, and other Railroads including the Camas Prairie; Chicago, Burlington and Quincy; and Seattle and International Railway for the period between 1905 and 2016.
