The Paul C. Newell Collection encompases published books on railroad topics, including the Great Northern, Southern Pacific, Burlington Northern, Union Pacific, Northern Pacific, Milwaukee Road, and other railroads.
The Patty Groesbeck Collecton consists primarily of documents pertaining to locomotive engineers' employment and job duties for railroads including the Northern Pacific, Southern Pacific, Milwaukee Road, Great Northern, Burlington Northern and other railroads between 1905 and 1996. It also includes some fifty photographs of railroad locomotives and cars in various locations throughout the western United States.
The Pat Stafford Collection is comprised of Great Northern Railway photographs from the 1920's , various ephemera and 1903 Nothern Pacific annual report.
The Oscar Peterson collection includes a collection of Great Northern Railway Company (U.S.) and other railroad documents. Railroad operating documents include timetables from the Great Northern Railway Company (U.S.) and Canadian Pacific Railroad Railway Company.
The Norm Keyes Collection is comprised of black and white prints of Great Northern Railway steam engines, work equipment, approximately 3650 photographic slides, and film negatives - approximately 5500. A limited number of photographs of equipment from other railroads and logging railroads are included.
The Michael Denuty Collection consists of commercially published books relating to railroad history, including material on the Great Northern Railway,Northern Pacific, Milwaukee Road, and Spokane, Portland and Seattle Railway.
The Melvin Iszley Collection consists of documents from several Northwest railroads, including maps, plats, engineering drawings, and timetables from the Northern Pacific, the Great Northern, the Spokane, Portland and Seattle, the Burlington Northern, and several other railroads, and operating manuals for a variety of diesel locomotives.
The Marty Johnston Collection is comprised of photographs of railroad subjects from the first half of the 1900's with emphasis on the Great Northern and other northwestern railroads. Some timetables, maps and newspaper clippings are also included. Materials were collected by Robert Pearson, Mr. Johnston's grandfather.
The Martin J. Lins Collection includes photographs of her uncle, Martin J. Lins, Chief Special Agent of the Great Northern, menus from President Franklin Roosevelt's trip to Glacier Park, Montana on August 3-7, 1934, and Martin Lin's Certificate of Annuity on his retirement.
