The Spokane, Portland, and Seattle Railway Authority for Expenditure (AFE) Collection consists of 10,058 paper files. The contents document construction and modifications to the railroad and nearby structures, and include business and finance records, engineering drawings, maps, and correspondence. Records range from 1908 to 1968 and include some from the Oregon Trunk Railroad.

The Steve Panzik Collection includes an extensive selection of Burlington Northern Railroad operating documents, chiefly from the Klamath Falls, Oregon area. The Stuart Johnson Collection includes magazines, Seaboard System timetables, a Baltimore and Ohio Railroad list of stations and names and a Union Pacific Railroad 150 year commemorative plate.
The Ted Pope Collection consists of copies of Great Northern, Northern Pacific, Milwaukee Road and SP&S timetables from 1908 to 1964 and photographs of Pacific Northwest railroad activities taken by Mr. Pope while a Milwaukee Road and Burlington Northern employee in the early 1970's.
The Terry Storwick Collection is comprised of 4 books: Great Northern General Rules, Northern Pacific Fireman Standard Examination, History of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers by Clarence V. Monin, and "The Northern Pacific: Mainstreet of the Northwest" by Charles R. Wood. Also a roll of trainmen work schedules.
The Thomas C. Cranage Collection includes rolled maps of Northern Pacific property owned in Seattle and Tacoma, Washington, 1 large route/schedule map, hand colored, for Washington state, a worldwide steamship map, a binder of timetables and booklets for the Northern Pacific and other railroads, and a box of documents from the Northern Pacific tax office.
