It also a group of various railroad maps and track profiles and 4 boxes of various railroad time tables.
The James Martin Collection consists of 8 published railroad books, miscellaneous railroad ephemera, 423 photographs and negatives of railroad subjects, and additional photographs and items primarily from the Great Northern Railway.
The James Fredrickson Collection is an extensive compilation of documents and photographs, primarily concerned with the Northern Pacific Railroad Company with additional coverage of other Pacific Northwest railroads. The Fredrickson Authorization for Expenditure (AFE) collection covers documents from the Northern Pacific's Tacoma and Idaho Divisions from 1900 to 1927. Many of these documents are actually Field Completion Reports (FCR).
The Jack Blanchard Collection includes issues of "Extra 2200 South", a magazine on diesel locomotive news and histories, and a Milwaukee Road postcard of Snoqualmie Pass, Washington.

The Harold Shannon Collection consists of over 300 photographs, primarily of Northern Pacific Railroad subjects. Most were taken in the mid-twentieth century.
The Hal Will Collection includes 57 photographs, principally of Great Northern Railway equipment, taken in the Seattle, Washington area between 1947 and 1956.
