The Walt Grecula Collection is comprised of railroad photographs, maps, documents and ephemera. It covers chiefly the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad, with additional materials from the successor Burlington Northern. It also has some documents and photographs from the Milwaukee Road and Northern Pacific. The period covered ranges from the 1920's to the 1980's.
The Tina Conner Collection includes books, magazines, photographs, a coat and other Milwaukee Road memoriabilia including lanterns, locks with keys, equipment manuals and CD/DVD's on various railroad subjects.
The Ted Pope Collection consists of copies of Great Northern, Northern Pacific, Milwaukee Road and SP&S timetables from 1908 to 1964 and photographs of Pacific Northwest railroad activities taken by Mr. Pope while a Milwaukee Road and Burlington Northern employee in the early 1970's.
The Tacoma Historical Society Collection is comprised of 1 photograph of the Milwaukee Road right of way at Rock Lake, Washington taken by Asahel Curtis circa 1915.
The Tacoma Chapter National Railroad Historical Society Donation encompasses Burlington Northern, Great Northern and Northern Pacific timetables, other railroad documents including brochures and quarterly reports and ephemera.
The Steve Hauff Collection holds primarily Milwaukee Road materials together with a book of mechanical drawings for the Northern Pacific-Union Pacific interlocking plant at Tacoma, Washington.
The Stephen McDonald Collection includes Milwaukee Road pencils and a patch, photographs of Joseph McDonald (the donor's father) and copy of a newspaper article.
The Russell Holter Collection includes Milwaukee Road research materials accumulated by Ruth Eckes, news paper clippings on Milwaukee Road subjects gathered by R. L. Baird, photographs of northwest railroad subjects from the Michael W. Dean collection, equipment manuals and other research materials on the Milwaukee Road and other northwest railroads, and organizational files from the Cascade Rail Foundation and Friends of the Cle Elum Depot.
