Number 7285 was built by EMD March, 1980 as Builder Number 786252-50. It was retired by the Burlington Northern and became FURX Number 7285, NREX Number 7285, and DA Number 7285. Number 7280 was built by EMD April, 1980 as Builder Number 786252-45. It was retired by the Burlington Northern and became FURX Number 7280, NREX Number 7280, and NS Number 3484.
