Northern Pacific passenger train number 408, Seattle-Portland, at Tacoma, Washington, on January 22, 1967. Led by diesel locomotive unit number 6706A and on an unusual detour route due to disruption on the normal Point Defiance line, train is crossing Foss Waterway drawbridge before heading down the incline into Union Station, and after its stop will back out of the station and continue its trip on the Prairie line through South Tacoma and Lakeview, and rejoin the mainline at Nisqually.
