          SP&S 2-6-2 steam locomotive Number 460, Class F-1, with the crew posing on the front of the locomotive at an unknown location and date. Judging by the dirt cars this was probably somewhere on the Oregon Trunk Railway during its construction. This locomotive was formerly Great Northern Number 1589 and was built by Baldwin Locomotive Works in April 1907. From the Oregon Historical Society Collection.

          SP&S 2-6-2 steam locomotive Number 459, Class F-1, at Vancouver, Washington on July 9, 1916. This locomotive was formerly Great Northern Number 1603 and was built by Baldwin Locomotive Works in April 1907. From the J. Foster Adams Collection, Rocky Mountain Railroad Club.
