SP&S 2-8-0 steam locomotive Number 367, Class N-2, on the ready tracks at Portland, Oregon. This locomotive was formerly Great Northern Number 1240 and was built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in November 1907. As these 2-8-0's were used in the timber areas around Vernonia some items to note are the dual height coupler pocket so disconnect log trucks could be handled and the hose wrapped around the sand dome which was used to fight small fires.
