          Great Northern Steam Locomotive 3251, a Class O-4, a 2-8-2, built by Baldwin in 1920, 28"x32" cylinders, 63" drivers, 210 psi steam pressure, 319,700 pounds weight, 64,313 pounds tractive effort. Believed to have been ordered by the Texas Pacific but canceled and purchased by the Great Northern, several of this series worked out of Spokane to Wenatchee after the 2000 series Mallets were taken in away in the late 1920s. Next came the Class 2100 2-10-2's. Photo taken at Hillyard, Washington by David Emerson photo in 1935.
