          Great Northern Steam Locomotive 2553, a Class S-1, a 4-8-4, built by Baldwin in 1929, 28"x30" cylinders, 73" drivers, 250 psi steam pressure, 472,000 pounds weight, 68,500 pounds tractive effort, these were originally purchased for passenger train in the Rocky Mountains but were hard on track and used on freight between Spokane, Washington and Troy, Montana and then sold to Chicago and Northwestern Railroad, at an unknown location.
