Great Northern Steam Locomotive 2126, a Class Q-1, a 2-10-2, built by Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1923, 31"x32" cylinders, 63" drivers, 210 psi steam pressure, 422,340 pounds weight, 87,129 pounds tractive effort, with booster under tender 428,390 pounds weight and 99,329 pounds tractive effort, boosters were a nuisance and removed, excellent east of Havre, Montana on the prairie but only used for a short time between Spokane and Wenatchee, railfans thought the stubby engines lacked pulling power, replaced by R-1 Mallets in late 1920s west of Spokane, at an unknown location.
