Burlington Northern Diesel Locomotive, Type SW7 Number 116, NW2 501 and an unidentified assortment of Type GP and Type SW units at a diesel servicing facility in Kansas City, Missouri on June 20, 1980. Number 116 was built by Electro-Motive Division (EMD) in May, 1950 as Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Number 9250, Builder Number 8494. It was retired in October, 1985. Number 501 was built by Electro-Motive Division (EMD) 05/40 as Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Number 9204, Builder Number 1009. It was retired in July, 1982 Photo by Al Christianson.
