The Ed Austin Collection includes photographs of Milwaukee Road subjects by Gene Larson, drawings, maps and documents for the Northern Pacific Railroad and Great Northern Railway, Great Norther track profiles, Northern Pacific and Great Northern engineering drawings and a Great Northern rail book and a property map for the Seaside, Oregon area.

The Edmund Von Nordeck collection is comprised of Great Northern timetables, Great Northern Railway Historical Society "Goat" magazines, a Burlington Northern pillowcase and 2 styles of headrests from the Northern Pacific.

The Edward Berntsen Collection takes in assorted railroad documents containing operating information from BN, NP, Milw, SP&S, and 1 condensed track profile of the Northern Pacific Railroad Pacific Division, 2nd District, Tacoma to Portland dated Feb 13, 1900.

The Edward Mesco Collection amalgamates 1 photograph, a copy of the book "Trout Flies", Northern Pacific Form 5357 copyright 1915, and 2 land grant certificates from 1904 and 1905, received from the Bachman family.

The Eleanor Boba Collection is comprised of a copy of her book "Around Lake Washington". Lake Washington is a defining feature in the life of Seattle, Bellevue, Renton, and many other communities. Always important to the Native Americans who fished its water, the lake and its environs have undergone rapid change since the coming of settlers 170 years ago. However, the area still retains much of its natural beauty and offers opportunities for recreation and celebration.

The Elizabeth Heldele Collection comprises photographs of Old Tacoma, Washington and an unidentified railroad bridge, and a program for the 100th Anniversary of the Snoqualmie, Washington railroad depot.

The Elizabeth McKee Collection includes photographs from the Interstate Commerce Commission Survey of the Great Northern Railway in 1915 and the Panama Pacific International Exhibition.

The Elmer Smoak Collection consists mainly of operating manuals for railroad locomtoives and their components. Additional materials on railroad operations, principally by the Northern Pacific Railroad Company, are included.
