The Alden Raney Collection consists of slides and photographs documenting railroad activity in the Pacific Northwest between 1959 and 1989. Railroads covered in the collection are Great Northern Railway, Northern Pacific Railroad, Milwaukee Road, Spokane, Portland & Seattle Railway, Union Pacific Railroad, Southern Pacific Railroad, logging railroads and others.
The Delbert Jacobson Collection holds primarily engineering drawings. Subjects include Seattle's King Street Station and other Pacific Northwest facilities of both the Northern Pacific Railroad Company and the Great Northern Railway Company (U.S.). Materials cover much of the twentieth century.
The Donald Golde Collection consists of digital copies of railroad photographs taken in the Spokane, Washington area by Phil Hastings, and photographs on color slides taken by Mr. Golde between 1990 and 2006.
The Drew Miller Collection amalgamates books on various railroad topics and photographs of the last Northern Pacific Railroad Company train to Gray's Harbor (Wash.) on February 18, 1956.
The Elizabeth Heldele Collection comprises photographs of Old Tacoma, Washington and an unidentified railroad bridge, and a program for the 100th Anniversary of the Snoqualmie, Washington railroad depot.
The John Dennis Collection holds some 160 color photographs taken by Danny P. Cook and additional photographs provided as digital files. Subjects are primarily Burlington Northern equipment, employees and locations in western Washington state taken in the 1990's. Some photographs of Amtrak and Union Pacific subjects are also included.
The John Ludwig Collection is 9 scans of engineering drawings of the King Street Station, Seattle (Wash.). Originals were scanned at the Pacific Northwest Railroad Archive and the scans retained. The originals were returned to Mr. Ludwig.
