The William McKown Collection includes photographs and drawings used by him to produce models of railroad equipment for W&R Enterprises. Equipment represented includes locomotives, freight cars, passenger cars and maintenance of way cars. Railroads represented include the Union Pacific Railroad Company, Southern Pacific Railroad Company, Great Northern Railway Company (U.S.), Northern Pacific Railroad Company, Burlington Northern Railroad Company, and other Railroads including Oregon Railroad and Navigation, Western Pacific, Denver and Rio Grande Western, New York Central, Reading Railroad, Chesapeake and Ohio, Pennsylvania Railroad, Canadian National Railroad, Soo Line, Frisco and Missouri Pacific.

The William Lofdahl Collection includes manuals, books, employee rosters, catalogs, and photographic slides of wrecks in the 1960's.

The William Harrison Collection includes a large number of railroad books, photographs and maps with emphasis on the Northern Pacific and other Pacific Northwest railroads. The Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission Collection includes State of Washington driver education "Safety at the Crossing" booklets, Operation Lifesaver coloring books, and Burlington Northern Railroad coloring books.

The Walter W. Ainsworth Collection consists of many photographs and documents for a variety of Pacific Northwest railroads.

The Walt Grecula Collection is comprised of railroad photographs, maps, documents and ephemera. It covers chiefly the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad, with additional materials from the successor Burlington Northern. It also has some documents and photographs from the Milwaukee Road and Northern Pacific. The period covered ranges from the 1920's to the 1980's.

The Thomas Miller includes photographs taken between 1940 and 1971 of Burlington Northern and predecessor railroad subjects.

The Tacoma Chapter National Railroad Historical Society Donation encompasses Burlington Northern, Great Northern and Northern Pacific timetables, other railroad documents including brochures and quarterly reports and ephemera.

The Stuart Holmquist collection includes photographs of Northern Pacific buildings, locomotives and other subjects, a Northern Pacific Black Hills timetable from 1879, copies of the Burlington Northern "Burlington Bulletin" employee magazine, various Great Northern, Burlington Northern and Burlington Northern Santa Fe materials, copies of the Union Pacific Historical Society "Streamliner" magazine, a book of SP&S track plans, a book covering the Union Terminal Company in Dallas, Texas. Various books on railroad topics and annual reports for Great Northern Railway for1890-1920 and1944

The Steve Panzik Collection includes an extensive selection of Burlington Northern Railroad operating documents, chiefly from the Klamath Falls, Oregon area.
