The Adolph Kalinski Collections comprises operations documents for the Northern Pacific, Southern Pacific, Burlington Northern and other railroads, Northern Pacific Authorizations for Expenditure (AFEs), timetables, ephemera, engineering drawings and photographs for the period between 1905 and 1978.

Accrual W2017-53: a topographical map of Butte, Montana from 1897. Accrual W2017-77: a Nothern Pacific demurrage from Prosser, Washington for 1941-1946, 3 maps of the Lester, Washington area, a book of electrical drawings for the Nothern Pacific's Lester, Washington headquarters.
