The Adolph Kalinski Collections comprises operations documents for the Northern Pacific, Southern Pacific, Burlington Northern and other railroads, Northern Pacific Authorizations for Expenditure (AFEs), timetables, ephemera, engineering drawings and photographs for the period between 1905 and 1978.

The Alan Baucon Collection includes 10 Great Northern engineering records, 8 maps of portions of Clark County, Washington and 1 engineering record from the W & ER & N Company (ORW&N?) in Vancouver, British Columbia (Washington?).

The Alden Raney Collection consists of slides and photographs documenting railroad activity in the Pacific Northwest between 1959 and 1989. Railroads covered in the collection are Great Northern Railway, Northern Pacific Railroad, Milwaukee Road, Spokane, Portland & Seattle Railway, Union Pacific Railroad, Southern Pacific Railroad, logging railroads and others.

The Allan Manson Collection is comprised of primarily of Union Pacific Railroad and Burlington Northern Railroad operations documents, employee magazines and financial documents dated between 1968 and 2013 as collected by a locomotive engineer. It also includes some operations documents from other railroads and operating equipment manuals.

The Annonymous Collection amalgamates materials from multiple donors and includes: Accrual W2011-14: 1 book of engineering drawings of Westinghouse #6 Engine and Tender (E.T.) Locomotive Brake Equipment and 1 book of engineering drawings of Westinghouse #8 E. T. Locomotive Brake Equipment, Accrual W2012-21: 1 book, "Steam Boilers" by E. M. Shealy, published by the University of Wisconsin in 1912, and 1 photograph, "Union Pacific Railroad Hangman Creek Trestle Spokane, Washington taken by Richard Hashagen. Accrual W2014-63: 1 box of newspaper clipping of advertisements for railroad travel. Accrual W2015-19: 1 water color by Howard Fogg. Accrual W2015-36: 4 maps of the Oregon Trunk Railway near Wishram, Washington, books on the Pullman Company, various railroad rule books. Accrual W2015-37: 5 VHS tapes on The Power of Milwaukee #261; The Best of 1985; Chicago Steam Celebration/ MILK #261; Union Pacific's 6900 Diesels; Riding the Rails, #4449, #261 Rebuild, Steamtown Grand Opening, The New Georgia Railroad. Accrual W2015-50: "Hillyard Drawings" of Great Northern Railway structures from the 1940's and 1950's. Accrual W2016-17: Great Northern, Nothern Pacific track profiles and plats in western Washington, Russell Company maps of Sedro-Woolley, Washington and Bellingham, Washington, and a Burlington Nothern system map. Accrual W2017-53: a topographical map of Butte, Montana from 1897. Accrual W2017-77: a Nothern Pacific demurrage from Prosser, Washington for 1941-1946, 3 maps of the Lester, Washington area, a book of electrical drawings for the Nothern Pacific's Lester, Washington headquarters. Accrual W2017-87: The Milwaukee Road Instruction Book for Class EP-2 Locomotives and a book "The Walschaert and Other Modern Radial Valve Gears for Locomotives", 1916, by W. W. Wood.

The collection puts together educational booklets from Railway Educational Bureau, issues of the "Narrow Gauge and Short Line Gazette", station and bridge drawings, Northern Pacific forms and BN "West Chronicles", an NP Engine Facility Plat Map Book, 8 photos of derailment of tank cars with resulting fire, a drawing and request for passenger depot near Dryad, WA, a "Model Railroader" article from the January, 2002 issue on GN M-2 Class 2-6-8-0, a framed photo showing a pile driver, and 2 books: "Ships of the Inland Sea" and Sternwheelers up the Columbia", 12'x26" photo of Puget Sound Flouring Mill workers in front of mill and Stadium Telegraph Office. The Dale Madison collection includes employee timetables and special instructions issued between 1956 and 1973 by the Union Pacific, SP&S, Northern Pacific, Bulington Northern and other railroads, a Nothern Pacific brakeman had and a Burlington Nothern bump hat.

The Dan Perkins Collection integrates some 15,000 photographic slides taken by Daniel Perkins between 1966 and 1973 of Pacific Northwest railroad subjects, chiefly equipment. Railroads covered include the Great Northern, Northern Pacific, Spokane, Portland and Seattle, Southern Pacific, Milwaukee Road, Union Pacific, and Pacific Coast.

The David Mason Collection includes the railroad comic books "Ride the High Iron" and "Rails Across America"; Canadian Pacific Railroad's "Westward Across Canada", Union Pacific Railroad's "Western Wonderlands"; Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad's "The Railroad with Young Ideas"; American Association of Railroad's "Quiz Jr." and "Railroads at Work".

The Dwight Thompson Collection includes 6 issues of the Great Northern Railway Historical Society (GNRHS) "Goat" magazine, 16 GNRHS reference sheets, the September 1995 issue of "Northwest Railfan", and the SP&S Historical Society magazine "The Northwest's Own Railway for Spring, 1989.
