The Robert Colley is comprised of timetables, operating documents, photographs, books and periodicals on a variety of railroad subjects. Materials date between 1881 and 2007 with the majority from the second half of the twentieth century.
The Robert Cain Collection consists of 5 books on railroad subjects, and 4 ring-bound route guides of the Northern Pacific Railroad Company line between Paradise (Mont.) and Spokane (Wash.) prepared by the Northern Pacific Railroad Historical Association.
The Robert Butler Collection assembles time tables from the Puget Sound and Willapa Harbor Railway, Tacoma Eastern Railroad, and Milwaukee Road Coast Division, Pullman coach keys, ticket punches from the Milwaukee Road Olympian passenger train and a Milwaukee Road caboose key.
The Robert Berger Collection is comprised of 3,237 photographic slides taken by Al Robinson in the mid to late 1900's. Subjects are primarily railroad equipment and locations for the Northern Pacific, Great Northern, Burlington Northern, SP&S, Union Pacific and other railroads.
The Verne Alexander Collection holds 140 Form 719 Combination Delay Reports and Time Slips, pay stubs from Northern Pacific, 2 metal locomotive classification flags, and 3 caboose classification marker paddles.
The Rick Leach Collection consists of maps, plats, mechanical drawings and other documents from the Northern Pacific Railroad, Great Northern Railway, Southern Pacific Railroad, Burlington Northern, and Spokane, Portland and Seattle Railway over the period from 1915 to 1971.
The Richard Wilkens Collection includes a copy of the 1941 Locomotive Cyclopedia, copies of the Narrow Gauge Gazette model railroading magazine, issues of The Western Railroader, Field Engineer books, a box of Burlington Northern paperwok and three boxes of Milwaukee Road/Union Pacific train orders from the Black River Tower (Tukwila, Washington).
