Number 1714 is a class W-3 built in 1913 by American Locomotive Company (Alco). NP number 684 is included in the train and was built as a Class C-1 American type (4-4-0) by the New York Locomotive Works in Rome, NY, in 1883. The 684 was restored in 1951 as a traveling museum piece for display at various NP stations. Number 684 is currently owned by the Bonanzaville, USA Museum in West Fargo, MN. Photo by J.M.
