Gary Weisz worked for the Northern Pacific Railroad in 1967 and later for the Burlington Northern. He has done archaeological research on Nothern Pacific Railroad activities in the Idaho area identifying construction camp locations.

Charles F. Wolfe (Fred, C. F.) worked for the Great Northern Railway Company (U.S.) from 1946 to 1970 and the Burlington Northern Railroad Company from 1970 to 1981. He was employed first as a surveyor, then as a draftsman and retired as Chief Draftsman at the King Street Station in Seattle (Wash.). According to his daughter, he surveyed portions of the Great Northern/Burlington Northern line from Skykomish (Wash.) to North Dakota.
